A total of 412 students from 50 different nations arrived on campus with their families throughout the day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/f_auto,q_auto,t_image_size_3\/v1750879520\/tasislugano\/fuak1xdgtpnan5yoye5z\/blog_2025_summer_open_02.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first session of the Summer Programs will run from June 22\u2013July 17, and another 453 students will come to campus for session two, which starts on July 20 and concludes on August 9. Students are grouped into four divisions:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/summer.tasis.ch\/programs\/minnows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Minnows<\/a>, ages 4\u20136;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasis.ch\/summer\/programs\/cde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Le Ch\u00e2teau des Enfants<\/a>&nbsp;(CDE), ages 7\u201310; the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasis.ch\/summer\/programs\/msp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Middle School Program<\/a>&nbsp;(MSP), ages 11\u201313; and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasis.ch\/summer\/programs\/hsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">High School Program<\/a>&nbsp;(HSP), ages 14\u201317.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Staff Talent Show Highlights (TASIS Summer Programs 2025)\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_hIbSeyGhHs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to Opening Day, Summer Programs\u2019 directors, teachers, counselors, and their families gathered in Villa De Nobili for a delicious dinner and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tasis.smugmug.com\/2025-Summer-Programs\/First-Session\/StaffTalentShow-20250621-JPG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Staff Talent Show<\/a>, a beloved annual tradition. With support provided by the incomparable&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/3T-qjyZcTK0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dedicated Performing Arts Team<\/a>&nbsp;(DPAT), brave staff members shared their impressive talents. See the clip above for video highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/f_auto,q_auto,t_image_size_3\/v1750879520\/tasislugano\/tvugiekfwzlb07e4w0xq\/blog_2025_summer_open_03.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students in all three programs began their academic classes on Monday morning.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/summer.tasis.ch\/#:~:text=Close-,Discover,-our%20Courses%2C%20Sports\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">This year\u2019s academic offerings<\/a>&nbsp;for sessions one and\/or two include English as an Additional Language, French, Academic Writing, STEAM, Digital Photography, Filmmaking, Architecture &amp; Design, Fine Art Portfolio, Fashion &amp; Textile Design, La Cucina Italiana, Next Stop: Broadway!, Lean Startup Masterclass, and Introduction to Investment for HSP; English as an Additional Language, French, Italian, Creative Writing, STEAM, Digital Photography, and Musical Theater for MSP; English as an Additional Language, French, Italian, and STEAM for CDE, and English as an Additional Language, French, and Italian for Minnows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/f_auto,q_auto,t_image_size_3\/v1750879520\/tasislugano\/vqzdhkqeedes61ndqnaq\/blog_2025_summer_open_04.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afternoons are generally reserved for activity tracks\u2014including Milan Academy Scuola Calcio, basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, CrossFit, rock climbing, dance, yoga, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, windsurfing, sailing, hiking, and swimming\u2014while most evenings are spent enjoying structured activities with friends.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/f_auto,q_auto,t_image_size_3\/v1750879521\/tasislugano\/eiz71wsbix1sp5msspar\/blog_2025_summer_open_05.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students in HSP and MSP will also have many opportunities throughout the summer to explore Switzerland and beyond through a robust offering of day and overnight trips to exciting destinations such as Andermatt, Florence, Interlaken the Italian Riviera, Milan, Nice, Rome, Venice, Verona, Zermatt, and Zurich.
