Our Rising Gen students travelled to London for an immersive day inside the Stonehage Fleming offices, gaining first-hand insight into global finance, governance, and entrepreneurship. Throughout the day, they met with Partner Matthew Fleming, CEO Stuart Parkinson, and several other inspiring leaders, each offering a distinct perspective on leadership, decision-making, and the professional world. @stonehagefleming<\/p>\n

The day concluded with a powerful keynote by Peggy Bouchet, one of our school ambassadors and the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, who encouraged students to “always dare, sometimes give in and never give up.” @peggybouchet 2-<\/p>\n

This experience captured exactly what the Rising Gen Lab is designed to deliver: bridging the classroom and the boardroom, connecting academic learning with real-world expertise, and empowering students to think boldly about their future.<\/p>\n

Next up: students will pitch their investment portfolios to a panel of finance professionals. The winning team will earn the opportunity to complete an internship in London.<\/p>\n

“It’s really rare for people our age to get this kind of opportunity.”<\/h2>\n

For Alexandre, an IB1 student, winning the Rising Generation Programme in partnership with Stonehage Fleming, alongside his teammate Adrien, was more than a competition. The experience culminated in a two-week internship at the firm’s London offices and confirmed his ambition to pursue International Economics and Finance at university.<\/p>\n

Through initiatives like Rising Gen, Le R\u00e9gent students engage with real-world challenges, develop entrepreneurial thinking and gain first-hand insight into professional environments, helping them make informed choices about their future with confidence and clarity.<\/p>\n

With Rising Gen returning next academic year, a new cohort will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of finance, innovation and impact.<\/p>\n
