Science Expedition in the Swiss Glaciers

As part of the Group 4 project IB requirement, students from biology, chemistry and physics visited the Aletsch Glacier to take measurements to gain a deeper understanding of this threatened ecosystem.

Our IB cohort enjoyed some much-deserved deliverance from their busy schedules thanks to the fresh mountain air, using the opportunity to experience the scientific method in a collaborative fashion.
