At Beau Soleil, we love to eat!

At Beau Soleil, our school restaurant is managed by local company Eldora, a partnership that dates back more than 20 years. Eldora, a Swiss catering company continues to satisfy the demands of our boarding community through their personalised services and dedication to fresh, healthy menus.

A custom service

Eldora takes seriously its mission that, “every student should enjoy a childhood filled with a wide variety of healthy, nutritious food essential to their development”. In the Beau Soleil school restaurant, this translates to a choice of 4 daily menus including; a vegetarian menu, a traditional menu, a take and eat dish and our “live cooking” area, where dishes are cooked to order. A salad buffet, fruit and dessert station complete the offering. The restaurant design allows a flow which allows students to choose and mix as they like.

A multicultural cuisine

With students from more than 55 nationalities, menus are prepared to satisfy the tastes of as many as possible, taking into account a balanced diet, cultural diversity and main allergens. Chef Frédéric finds his inspiration from his travels and says, “Having travelled extensively around the world, I learnt much about other cultures and this inspires me each day when I create my menus”. Along with his team, he ensures the daily balance between a sophisticated offer and simple “homestyle” dishes to please all.

Every month the kitchen offers between 4 to 6 special theme days. From Chinese New Year to Italian week, Swiss-influenced cheese fondue and Mexican fajitas, the team do their best to ensure students have a taste from home. With so many opinions and tastes to cater to, Eldora and the Beau Soleil leadership team are in close communication with the student body, listening to their ideas and working to satisfy their culinary wishes.

Home made

Head Chef Frédéric and his team select the freshest, high- quality products to elaborate their dishes which are prepared on site each day by the team of 3 chefs. The freshness of the ingredients and the flavour of the dishes are guaranteed.

It is with pleasure that our students join together each day to savour their breakfast, lunch and dinner, thanks to the engagement from the Eldora Team.
